This home in Launiupoko sub has a beautiful porcelain lanai. It had some moisture issues under tiles, which caused a lot of efflorescence and deterioration in grout. Also had areas where standing water collected from irrigation. We approached it with a good deep cleaning. We cut out all the floor grout and color matched new to original color. We also patched some of the edges where we suspect water from irrigation getting between substrate and tiles.

We sealed it up with some Dry Treat stain proof. Irrigation is diverted away from lanai. With proper maintenance this tile and grout lanai should last for many years.

Sitting on north Kihei at sugar beach, we did this large quartzite pool deck restoration. This pool has a lot of wear and tear due to high traffic and located right on the ocean. There was a lot of build up from hard water, red dirt and of course sun screen. Lot’s of cracked grout that’s typical for the age and use of pool and spa. We performed multiple processes to get it right. We chemically and mechanical abraded surface. We also had to sand blast stubborn areas. Not to mention hundreds of feet of grout repair. All in all everyone was happy. And the pool deck looked great.

We Diamond sanded this floor to flatten uneven edges and remove all wear throughout floor. This floor had gloss meter specs for polished finishes, we had to get our process down so we could meet specs. This was challenging since the black and white marbles polished at different rates. In the end we were able to get the entire floor done within the tolerances of specs.

This travertine floor had lots of hollow spots under tiles, which causes cracks and chips to show up over time. This is a high traffic rental unit and in this case could become a liability for safety. Ultimately this floor needs to be replaced which can be costly. Owners needed time to get through busy season. We deep cleaned this floor. Color matched and filled in cracks and chips. We Diamond sanded to smooth and honed to match original finish. Sealed tile and grout with high performance penetrating sealer. This professional process made this floor safe and protected to get through another busy maui season.
