White carrera Marble Floor restoration to high polish
Original material on this flooring is 30 years old. It can be returned to an amazing finish by proper diamond sanding and polishing techniques. Different types of natural stone all have their own unique characteristics and we love when a client opts to restore existing flooring rather than replace it.
Concrete can be stamped at the time of installation to create a variety of pattern options. Some of the patterns include wood plank, flagstone, tiled, or Roman Slate as pictured here. This concrete floor was installed along with a fire pit and privacy wall by Aaron’s Masonry (808-283-8315)
Our company came in after installation and stained the area using 2 colors. It was sealed with a breathable solvent based acrylic sealer to give it protection and color enhancement. This will be a cool hang out spot once complete.
Countertops in the bathroom can take the brunt of makeup, cosmetics, lotions, sunblock, and hair products. Protecting them with regular sealing is recommended. This counter was in good condition and without stains. However, it was polished and sealed to remove years of wear.
Stone tip: Customers often ask if they can use a “product applied to the stone” to make it look better. Stone polishing is a process of machine buffing the surface with the correct types of diamond polishing pads, which brings the stone to a natural shine, rather than adding a product that changes the look. Generally, we don’t use or recommend waxes or other types of products to change the sheen on natural stone. When in doubt, ask a professional for stone care options.
Exterior flooring can take the worst of sun, salt, sand, and red dirt. A restorative cleaning was performed on this quartzite flagstone style tiled lanai flooring in Kaanapali, Maui. It looks fresh and bright after cleaning halfway through. When cleaning is done, the best of the best protection is always applied to prevent staining. Sealers aren’t intended to prevent dirt from building up, but they stop them from penetrating deep into the stone and permanently staining and discoloring the flooring.

Pool tile and hardwater are not happy partners. Clean the hard water lines too aggressively and it damages the tile and your problem gets worse. Media blasting is the best, gentlest way to treat your pool tile. Using an experienced stone and tile expert ensures the proper media choice is made to protect the surface of the tiles from damage during cleaning.
Some really great results from using the proper methods to gently remove staining while protecting the integrity of the travertine stone tiles. It’s important to use a stone restoration expert rather than a janitorial company to treat travertine because stone requires a fine balance of treatment without cleaning the stone too aggressively. Getting the stone clean can be done in a way that compromises the life span of the stone or it can be finessed and cared for to restore the original look of the travertine while extending the lifespan of the floor, shower, or counter. Proper protection after cleaning is a must to prevent the porosity of the surface from collecting deep stains that can’t be removed. We don’t recommend letting anyone who is not a natural stone specialist apply products to your stone floors because fixing an error is almost always more costly than just getting it right the first time.

I love working upcountry in awesome kula maui. It's nice and cool, with great views and ten minutes from my house (bonus). This is one of our long time clients. This counter my look familiar because I posted pictures before, we've restored and polished it a few times. It's a beautiful stone you don't see very often. Beautiful but requires a lot of care and maintenance. This time we applied a new protective product which is ideal for sensitive stone counters. It makes the surface etch proof and stain proof. Along with that as you can tell the reflection is excellent. It will make stone last longer and make daily cleaning a lot simpler. This pool is in Kaanapali. It’s in a hotel that has high traffic. It get’s a lot of sun screen and salt build up. The staff does a good job at regular rinse downs but after a while it just need a professional touch.

This floor was in really bad shape. Lots of etch marks, dirty grout, lots of holes and chips to fill, missing grout. We had to deep clean to get tiles and grout nice and fresh. We had to diamond sand to remove wear and damage. We finished by top polishing and sealing.
This is a very difficult stone to maintain. Especially if it is in a high occupancy vacation rental. We will work with the managing company to put together a regular program.
